98club – Malaysia's Leading Sports Betting and Live Casino Platform
Betting at 98club – More Than Just Placing a Wager
If you've tried other betting platforms and walked away disappointed — low odds, sluggish interfaces, or limited markets — you know how frustrating that feels. That's why so many Malaysian players have made the switch to 98club. Not because of a tagline, but because of a genuinely better experience in terms of choice, speed, and reliability.
98club goes beyond standard football betting. The platform covers a wide range of sports popular with local players — from the Malaysia Football League (MFL) and Super League to the EPL, La Liga, and the World Cup. Beyond conventional sports, esports betting for games like Mobile Legends, DOTA 2, and CS:GO is also available with markets updated around the clock.
Most notably, the live betting system at 98club lets you place wagers while a match is in progress. Odds shift in real time based on what's happening on the pitch — goals, red cards, penalties — all of these directly influence the odds, giving you the opportunity to make smarter decisions based on the latest developments in the match.
Why Malaysian Players Choose 98club for Betting?
First and foremost, it comes down to trust. 98club operates under a valid license and uses 256-bit SSL encryption to protect every transaction and player's personal data. You can bet with peace of mind, free from the risk of data breaches or security issues that are common concerns on less reputable platforms.
On the convenience side, deposits and withdrawals at 98club can be made through a variety of methods including local bank transfers, Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, and DuitNow QR. This means you do not have to go through a complicated process just to fund your account before betting.

Types Betting Available
One of 98club's key advantages over other platforms is the variety of bet types on offer. You're not limited to simple win/lose bets — there's a wide range of options that can make your betting experience more engaging and strategic.
1. Asian Handicap Betting
This is the most popular bet type among Malaysian and Southeast Asian players. With Asian Handicap, a team's advantage or disadvantage is expressed in goals — for example -0.5, -1, or +1.5. This eliminates the possibility of a draw and offers better odds value compared to conventional 1X2 betting.
2. Over/Under (Total Goals)
You predict whether the total goals in a match will exceed or fall short of the number set by the platform. For example, over/under 2.5 goals means you are betting on whether there will be 3 or more goals (over), or 2 or fewer (under). This bet type is ideal if you follow match statistics closely.
3. Live Betting (In-Play / Live Betting)
This feature is one of the most popular at 98club. While a match is in progress, odds are updated every few seconds based on the latest developments. You can place a bet in the first minute, after the first goal, or during stoppage time — offering flexibility that pre-match betting simply cannot match.
4. Accumulator / Parlay
For players looking to maximise winning potential with a small stake, parlay betting lets you combine multiple matches on a single bet slip. Winnings from each selection are multiplied — the more matches you add, the higher the odds multiplier and the greater the potential payout. The risk is naturally higher too, as every selection must win.
5. Correct Score Betting
The ultimate challenge in sports betting — predicting the exact final score of a match. The risk is high, but so are the odds multipliers. 98club offers correct score options for most major football matches.
6. Goal Scorer Betting
You predict which player will score the first, last, or any goal in a match. This bet type adds excitement to watching the game because you have a personal stake in a specific player's performance.

Tips & Strategies Betting for Beginners
Set a Daily Budget Limit
Before you start betting, set a maximum amount you're comfortable losing for the day. Stick to that limit strictly. Betting beyond your set budget is the leading cause of financial problems among new players.
Focus on Sports You Know
Do not be tempted to bet on every sport available. Focus on the sport or league you follow closely — EPL if you are an English football fan, or MFL if you are more comfortable with the local scene. In-depth knowledge is worth far more than luck alone.
Use Historical Match Records
98club provides statistics and head-to-head records for most matches. Take time to review recent form, player injuries, and home vs. away performance records. This data can be a decisive factor in making more informed decisions.
Avoid Betting to Chase Losses
This is the most common trap. After a loss, many players place larger bets hoping to recover their losses in a single wager. This approach almost always makes things worse. Take a break, review your strategy, and come back with a fresh mindset.
Make the Most of Free Bets & Bonuses
98club offers a variety of bonuses for new and active members — including first deposit bonuses and periodic free bets. Use these bonuses as an opportunity to explore new markets without risking your own money.
Compare Odds Before Placing a Bet
While odds at 98club are already among the most competitive, always choose the market with the best value for each wager. An odds difference of 0.05 may seem small, but over the long run it has a meaningful impact on your overall returns.
Bet Responsibly: Betting should be entertainment, not a primary income source. If you feel betting is starting to affect your daily life, contact our Responsible Gaming 98club for assistance and guidance.

FAQ Betting
The minimum bet at 98club starts from as low as MYR 1 for most sports markets. This lets new players explore different bet types without risking large amounts. Maximum bet limits vary depending on the market type and match selected.
Generally, confirmed bets cannot be cancelled. This is standard policy across most betting platforms to ensure fairness for all parties. However, 98club offers a "Cash Out" feature for selected markets that lets you take part or all of your winnings before the match ends — useful when the match situation shifts and you want to lock in a profit or cut your losses.
If a match is postponed before it begins, all related bets will be voided and your stake will be fully refunded to your account balance. If a match is interrupted mid-play (after 45 minutes for football), the result is typically settled based on the score at the time of stoppage. Full details can be found in the 98club Terms and Conditions section.
Live betting is available for most major sports including football, badminton, tennis, basketball, and esports. Not all matches or leagues support live betting — lower-tier matches or niche sports may only offer pre-match betting. You can identify matches that support live betting by the "LIVE" icon displayed in the match listing.
Go to the "Active Bets" or "Bet History" section in your account. Bets eligible for Cash Out will display a "Cash Out" button along with the amount available at that moment. Click the button and confirm to receive an immediate payout to your account balance. The Cash Out amount is calculated based on current odds and the original potential winnings of your bet.
Yes, maximum bet limits vary by market type and league. Top-tier leagues like the EPL and La Liga typically carry higher limits compared to local leagues or lower-tier matches. 98club VIP members enjoy higher bet limits than regular members. For more details on your account's betting limits, contact customer support via live chat.
